Care
Trim the Wick: Before each burn, trim cotton and braided wicks to approximately 1/4 inch and wooden wicks to approximately 1/8 inch. Proper trimming helps maintain a steady flame, reduce soot, and promote an even burn.
Ensure Proper Placement: Always place your candle on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, flammable materials, and out of reach of children and pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
First Burn: Allow the wax to melt evenly toward the edges of the container, where applicable, to help prevent tunnelling. This typically takes 1–3 hours, depending on the candle's size and design. Never exceed the recommended maximum burn time.
Subsequent Burns: Trim the wick before each use and avoid burning your candle for more than 3–4 hours at a time. Allow the wax to cool and solidify completely before relighting.
Extinguishing the Flame: Use a candle snuffer or gently blow out the flame to extinguish your candle. Avoid using the lid or blowing too forcefully, as hot wax may splatter.
Keep It Clean: Keep the wax pool free of debris, including wick trimmings and matches, to help prevent excessive flames and soot buildup.
Storage: Store your candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to preserve its appearance and fragrance.
Know When to Stop: Discontinue use when approximately 1/2 inch of wax remains at the bottom of the container to prevent overheating.
