Care
Trim the Wick: Before each use, trim the wick to approximately 1/4 inch to ensure a clean burn and prevent excessive flickering.
Ensure Proper Placement: Place your candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, flammable materials, and out of reach of children and pets.
First Burn: Allow your candle to burn until the wax pool reaches the edges of the container to prevent tunneling and ensure an even burn in future uses. This may take 2-3 hours for larger candles.
Subsequent Burns: Trim the wick before each use and avoid burning your wooden wick candle for more than 4 hours at a time to prevent overheating and ensure optimal performance.
Extinguishing the Flame: Use a snuffer or gently blow out the flame to extinguish your candle. Avoid using the lid or blowing too hard, as this may cause hot wax to splatter.
Keep it Clean: Keep the wax pool free of debris such as wick trimmings and matches to prevent the flame from becoming too large and causing soot.
Storage: Store your candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain its quality and fragrance.
